My Approach



My primary orientation is cognitive behavioral which means that I help clients identify and change the thought patterns and behaviors that are negatively impacting their lives. These therapies have consistently been shown to be among the most effective methods for treating a wide range of psychological problems including:

        - addictive behaviors,

        - anxiety & depression,

        - chronic pain,

        - marital / relationship issues,

        - posttraumatic stress disorder,

        - sexual dysfunction / dissatisfaction


I have been well trained to treat these and other problems you may be facing by providing brief, scientifically-supported treatments delivered with compassion and encouragement. I enjoy helping clients face their anxieties and fears, change old patterns of behavior and thinking, and live more fully towards who they want to be.
